Experience

Rachel Aharonoff is a California State University, Northridge (CSUN) graduate. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Honors from CSUN in May 2010. Rachel successfully completed the four sections of the Certified Public Accountant exam and completed the certification process in 2014. Prior to joining Manela & Company, Rachel worked for J.H. Cohn, LLP where she worked as a Staff Accountant performing audits and preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and foundations.

Rachel joined Manela & Company in June 2012.  As the assurance and advisory manager, she conducts and oversees all the preparation for the audit process including HUD audits, audits of financial statements for foundations, non-profit organizations, public and private companies, and employee benefit plans. Rachel also reviews preparation of federal, state, corporate, partnership, and exempt tax returns.
