Limor Amrani completed her Masters degree in Business Taxation from University of Southern California in 2017. Limor is also a UCLA magna-cum-lade graduate (…with a higher GPA than her boss!) where she attained her B.A. in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting along with a successful completion of the College Honors program at UCLA. Prior to joining Manela & Co., Limor was an Advisory Compliance Intern at National Planning Corporation as well as an Investment Accounting Intern at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. At these institutions, she facilitated the creation of new IRA accounts, processed applications for investments, and assisted with investment financing projects involving hedge funds as well as other accounting projects.
Limor Amrani has been a part of our firm since 2006. At Manela & Company, Limor manages and reviews the preparation of federal, state, corporate, partnership, exempt, and trust income tax returns as well as quarterly sales tax returns. Aside from reviewing tax returns, Limor’s most recent accomplishments involve preparation of complicated tax returns that require research and presentation, such as ones that involve casualty loss due to fire, or ones that involve elections to be made to save a client substantial amount of income tax. Limor also handles non-profit formation, and church exemptions or conversion from regular 501©(3) exemptions to church exemption. Limor also has experience handling complicated property tax issues involving exemptions saving clients substantial amounts of property tax.
